Comme le veut la tradition, une partie des recettes du traditionnel marché de Noël de Steinfort est reversée à des organisations caritatives luxembourgeoises. La semaine passée lors d’une petite cérémonie, le collège échevinal de Steinfort, ensemble avec le président de l’Entente, a remis les chèques d’un montant de 2.500,- € chacun aux représentant.e.s des associations Wonschkutsch asbl et Plooschter Projet.

Wonschkutsch asbl s'occupe de la réalisation des dernières volontés des malades en phase terminale tandis que Plooschter Projet s’est donné l'objectif de recruter un maximum de donneurs de cellules souches (moelle osseuse) afin de sauver le plus de vies possible de patient.e.s atteint.e.s de leucémie.

La cérémonie s’est terminée autour du verre de l’amitié.

As every year, part of the proceeds of the traditional Steinfort Christmas market are donated to Luxembourg charities. Last week, during a small ceremony, the aldermanic college of Steinfort, together with the president of the Entente, handed over the cheques amounting to 2.500,- € each to the representatives of the associations Wonschkutsch asbl and Plooschter Projet.

Wonschkutsch asbl is concerned with the realisation of the last wishes of terminally ill patients, while Plooschter Projet aims to recruit as many stem cell (bone marrow) donors as possible in order to save as many lives as possible of leukemia patients.

The ceremony was followed by the traditional glass of honour.
