Dans le cadre de la « Grousser Botz » qui aura lieu ce samedi 23 mars 2024, les photos de notre Billerwee ont changé. Vous pouvez désormais découvrir l'exposition « 1001 Tonnen » de la photographe luxembourgeoise Jessica Theis.

1001 tonnes n’est pas une histoire et surtout pas un conte, ce n’est pas non plus un titre pour rêver, mais c’est la réalité.

Il s'agit en fait du nombre de déchets sauvages que nous avons ici au Luxembourg, c’est-à-dire les déchets, qui sont jetés illégalement dans la nature, sans penser aux conséquences pour l'environnement et donc pour les gens.

Les photos ont été prises à différents endroits du Luxembourg et l'exposition est visible jusqu'à mi-mai au Billerwee autour de l’étang au cœur de Steinfort.

P.S. Si ce n'était pas déjà assez clair, voici un petit rappel : ne jetez PAS de déchets dans la nature ! Il y a suffisamment de poubelles et de centres de ressources à disposition pour cela.

As part of the “Grouss Botz”, which takes place this Saturday, 23 March, the photos on our Billerwee have changed. Now you can take a look at the exhibition "1001 Tonnen" by Luxembourg photographer Jessica Theis.

1001 tonnes is not a story, and certainly not a fairy tale, nor is it a title to dream about, but it is reality.
It is the amount of litter we have here in Luxembourg.
This is the waste that is disposed of illegally in nature without thinking about the consequences for the environment and therefore for the people.

The photos were taken at various locations in Luxembourg and the exhibition will be on display until mid-May on our Billerwee around the pond situated in the heart of Steinfort.

P.S. In case it wasn't already clear enough, here's a small reminder: DON’T throw litter into nature! There are plenty of rubbish bins and resource centres available for this purpose.
