Wärend 3 Stonnen konnten d‘Leit déi matgemaacht hunn erliefen wéi et ass iwwerhaapt näicht ze gesinn – den Alldag vu ville Leit déi blann sinn. Et war eng spannend awer och beréierend Erfarung déi duerch deen exzellente kulinaresche Menü vum Restaurant An der Villa zu engem Erliefnis vun de véier Sënner déi nach iwwreg ware, gouf.

La semaine passée, la commune de Steinfort avait organisé ensemble avec l’Association pour malvoyants et aveugles (A.M.V.A), la commission sociale et de l’égalité des chances et le Restaurant An der Villa le « Dinner in the Dark ». Lors de cette soirée les participant.es ont pu déguster un menu à quatre plats sans voir ce qui se trouvait sur leur assiette et faire ainsi l’expérience de ne rien voir du tout – le quotidien de nombreuses personnes aveugles. Une expérience captivante et émouvante qui est devenue, grâce à l’excellent menu culinaire proposé par le Restaurant An der Villa, une aventure pour les quatre sens restants.

Last week, the community of Steinfort, together with the Association for the l’Association pour malvoyants et aveugles (A.M.V.A), the social and equal opportunities committee and the Restaurant An der Villa, organised the "Dinner in the Dark". During this evening, the participants were able to enjoy a four-course meal without seeing what was on their plate and thus experience not being able to see anything at all - the everyday life of many blind people. It was an exciting and moving experience which, thanks to the excellent culinary menu offered by Restaurant An der Villa, became an adventure for the remaining four senses.
