Iwwert déi lescht Wochen hunn d‘Kanner aus de Cyclen 3 a 4 vun eiser Grondschoul e Sensibiliséierungsworkshop matgemaach zum Thema „blann am Alldag sinn“. An dem Workshop, geleet vun der Association pour Malvoyants et Aveugles (A.M.V.A), hunn d’Kanner esou konnte léiere wéi si hire Numm op Braille schreiwe kënnen, wat den Handy alles fir Funktiounen huet déi blann Leit kënnen notze fir sech d’Liewen ze vereinfachen an allgemeng wéi vill Obstakele blann Leit a Leit déi schlecht gesinn an hirem Alldag begéinen. Duerno haten si nach d’Méiglechkeet enger vun de Workshopleederinnen, déi selwer blann ass, Froen iwwert hiren Alldag ze stellen. All Mënsch huet ganz vill konnte beléieren a passt elo warscheinlech op Saachen op déi ee virdrun net sou wouer geholl huet….

Pendant les dernières semaines, les enfants des cycles 3 et 4 de l’Ecole fondamentale de Steinfort ont eu l’occasion de participer à des ateliers de sensibilisation sur le quotidien des personnes aveugles. Lors de cet atelier, assuré par l’Association pour malvoyants et aveugles (A.M.V.A.), les enfants ont, entre autres, eu l’opportunité d’apprendre à écrire leur nom en braille, apprendre à connaître les fonctions des téléphones portables facilitant la vie des personnes non-voyantes et en général comprendre les obstacles auxquels les personnes aveugles et malvoyantes sont confrontées dans leur quotidien. Les enfants ont également pu poser toutes leurs questions à une des responsables de l’atelier, elle-même aveugle. Tout le monde a pu apprendre beaucoup de nouvelles choses et percevra certainement son environnement dorénavant un peu différemment…

During the last few weeks, the children in cycles 3 and 4 of the Steinfort Basic School have had the opportunity to participate in awareness-raising workshops on the daily life of blind people. During this workshop, provided by the Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (A.M.V.A.), the children could learn, among other things, how to write their name in Braille, what functions mobile phones make life easier for blind people and in general what obstacles blind and visually impaired people face in their daily lives. The children were able to ask all their questions to one of the workshop leaders, who is herself blind. Everyone was able to learn a lot of new things and will certainly perceive their environment a little differently from now on...
