La semaine passée, la Commune de Steinfort a organisé une table ronde exceptionnelle pour la « Journée internationale des personnes âgées » et de la « Journée mondiale de l’homme » à l'Hôpital Intercommunal Steinfort (HIS). Parmi les expert.e.s participant.e.s figuraient le Dr Alexandre Bisdorff, neurologue, le Prof. Dr Barbara Klink, généticienne au LNS, le Dr Alexandre Melchior, gériatre, ainsi que des représentant.e.s d’InfoMann et du ministère de l’Égalité entre les femmes et les hommes qui ont partagé leurs perspectives sur les défis de la santé masculine. Après la table ronde, les expert.e.s étaient également disponibles pour répondre à l'une ou l'autre question plus personnelle.

Ouvert à toutes et tous, cette manifestation a été une opportunité précieuse de comprendre les enjeux de la santé des hommes, d'explorer des solutions proactives et de refléter sur le rôle des hommes dans notre société. Un pas vers une communauté informée et engagée !

Entre 17h00 et 18h30, des stands d'information ont permis aux visiteur.e.s de découvrir des ressources essentielles et des conseils relatifs à la santé.

Last week, on the occasion of the International Day for Older Persons and the International Men's Day, the municipality of Steinfort organised a special round table at the Hôpital Intercommunal Steinfort (HIS). Experts including neurologist Dr Alexandre Bisdorff, LNS geneticist Prof Dr Barbara Klink and geriatrician Dr Alexandre Melchior, as well as representatives from InfoMann and the Ministry of Equality between Women and Men, shared their views on the challenges facing men's health. After the round table, the experts were also available to answer more personal questions.

Open to all, the event was a valuable opportunity to understand men's health issues, explore proactive solutions and reflect on the role of men in our society. One step towards an informed and engaged community!

Between 5pm and 6.30pm, information stands gave visitors the chance to discover essential resources and health advice.
