D’Bierger.innen goufen an enger kuerzer Aféierung iwwer d’Bedeitung vun enger naturnoer Gestaltung vun ëffentleche Plazen opgekläert. Dobäi gouf besonnesch op d’Wichtegkeet fir d’Biodiversitéit an d’Klimaresilienz, also d’Widderstandsfäegkeet vun der Gemeng Stengefort a Bezuch op d’Äerderwäermung, an de Vierdergrond gestalt.

La 3e édition de notre forum citoyen s'est tenue le samedi 15 juin, avec pour thème cette année « Stengefort Naturno ». Les citoyen.ne.s ont d'abord reçu une brève introduction sur l'importance de l'aménagement naturel des espaces publics. L'accent a été mis sur la biodiversité et la résilience climatique, c'est-à-dire la capacité de la commune de Steinfort à s'adapter au réchauffement climatique.

La partie pratique de l'atelier a ensuite débuté. Répartis en cinq groupes, les participant.e.s ont créé eux-mêmes une place publique fictive, utilisant des matériaux naturels tels que des plantes fraîches et séchées, des branches, du sol, de l'argile, des pierres, et bien d'autres éléments.

L'EBL était également présente avec un stand d'information sur le thème « Ouni Pestiziden », fournissant aux participants des informations précieuses.

Nous tenons à remercier toutes les personnes qui ont participé ou contribué à l'organisation de cet événement. Il est maintenant temps de mettre en œuvre ces superbes modèles sur des sites réels et de rendre ensemble la commune de Steinfort encore plus proche de la nature.

The 3rd edition of our Citizens' Forum was held on Saturday 15 June, with this year's theme being "Stengefort Naturno". Citizens were given a brief introduction to the importance of natural landscaping in public spaces. The focus was on biodiversity and climate resilience, i.e. Steinfort’s ability to adapt to global warming.

The practical part of the workshop then began. Divided into five groups, the participants created a fictitious public space using natural materials such as fresh and dried plants, branches, soil, clay, stones and many other elements.

EBL was also present with an information stand on the topic of "Ouni Pestiziden", providing valuable information to the participants.

We would like to thank everyone who took part or helped to organise this event. Now it's time to put these excellent models into practice on real sites, and together we can bring the municipality of Steinfort even closer to nature.
