20h00: STELISE (Rock)
STELISE is a luxembourgish band that has started in 2016. The project has started with Steve Richer on the guitar and Elise Nunes on the vocals. They both wrote a first song entitled Empty and they played the song at a few Open Mics.
Nevertheless, the duo wanted to go further...
They decided to start a band.
Some other musicians have joined the band. Kevin Reinert (who played in the bands Try This and Stories of a City) on the rythmic guitar,Mirko Spitoni on the bass, Paulo Nunes (who played in the bands Fast Friday, Meds and Moonlight in the Desert) on the drums, Joël Wagner (who played in the band Thunderroad) on the keyboards.
STELISE define their style like a sort of psychedelic rock with trip-hop influences and they will please your mind and soul.
2018, they released their first album entitled IF THERE IS AN ESCAPE”.
21h00: MICHAEL SHEPHERD BAND (Rock)
Hailing from a country better known for its banking industry than its classic rock talent comes the Michael Shepherd Band. Little need to present them as they have toured both the local circuit and the neighboring countries for the past 15 years.
Their first record, simply titled "MSB" was released in 2002. Among the mix of rockers, Ballads and heavier songs, it also contained their signature rocker "Pick Up The Pieces" as well as "Only the Blues", which was a local summer hit in 2003.
In 2013, they’re back with their second album, titled "II".
It marks the final change to a fully fledged classic rock band in the vein of Whitesnake, Journey or Bad Company! While their seventies influences of the likes of Free or Lynyrd Skynyrd echo in their sound, the songs range from stadium and radio anthems (without the hair) to raunchy rockers with the epic ballad thrown in for good measure, just like grunge never happened...
Released on iTunes on January 24th, 2013, the first single "This Time Around" sets the pace for an album that celebrates classic rock and a time when rock ruled the airwaves, "Rock Of Ages" was a song and not a musical, guitar solos were actually worth listening to and real vocalists such as Paul Rodgers or Steve Perry were setting the bar pretty high for the rest of us!
So, get ready for "II" the new album by MSB, released in March 2013 and join them on tour, starting April 12th at the Rockhal...
20h00: THE NOISEMAKERS (Coverband)
More than five years have passed since the young musicians, who met back in high-school, started their own cover band project and hence went on a musical and interpersonal journey, gradually gaining experience and growing into a inseparable unit for the sake of music and friendship.
The Noisemakers live up to their name and by now, Luxembourg's music scene and night life can no longer be imagined without the crazy bunch, that heats up any venue, be it a beer tent, a concert hall or a private birthday party.
Due to their broad repertoire, including Hits from the 60's up to the newest releases, they fit into any kind of event and are capable of satisfying the musical expectations of all ages by making everybody sing and dance along. Apart from the many private events, the Noisemakers have played shows such as “Fête de la Musique”, “Nuit des légendes”, “Rock Against Cancer” and – for the third time in a row now- the well-attended “Zürcher Bal”, just to mention a couple.
In 2014, the first edition of “The Noisemakers Freebeer” took place, an independent event with great success that was repeated the next year and led to the idea of a 5-Year-Birthday Show for the third edition in 2016.
